Chi Hair Straightener?

Does anyone own a chi hair straightener? because i just bought mine about 9 months ago.. and it costed 250$ and now when i plug it in the light doesnt come on and it wont even heat up!!! so i called them and they said i have to send it in and pay an additional 45 dollars to get it fixed! i personally yhink if i was going to spend 250$ on a hairstraightener it should last more than 9 months! has this happened to anyone else? 2 years ago Additional Details i tried reseting it and everything! i did the test or whatever too and it didnt work! 2 years ago Report Abuse by Bex Member since: July 03, 2007 Total points: 3775 (Level 4) Add to My Contacts Block User Best Answer - Chosen by Voters Did you try hitting the reset button on the plug and the one in your wall? Sometime the GFCI button on the plug does it, sometimes the one in the wall does it…just try hitting the reset on both. Yea, $45 bucks is a rip off. But I found my Chi for $140…at Target.
